The Endocrinology Department of the Fourth Hospital of Zhejiang University was built with the assistance of Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital affiliated to Zhejiang University School of Medicine. Since its establishment, it has developed rapidly. Through the efforts of all medical staff, it is now a first-class key discipline in Jinhua and a key discipline in Yiwu. The annual outpatient visits have exceeded 75000. The department has become the backbone of diabetes health education in Jinhua. All physicians obtain doctor or master degrees. We also undertake the training tasks for master and undergraduate students at Zhejiang University, and serve as a national level internal medicine training base to undertake standardized training for resident physicians.
