In May 2018, the Fourth Clinical College of Medicine was added as a cooperative unit of the national standardized training base for resident doctors. Since the establishment of the hospital, the enrollment scale of residential training students has been expanding, and from 2018 to 2023, 22, 30, 64, 88, 80 and 87 students have been enrolled respectively, among which the completion rate of recruitment tasks in short supply specialties such as general medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, and anesthesiology has reached 100%. The Fourth Clinical Medical College carries out continuing medical education according to the requirements of superiors, organizes and carries out multi-level and multi-form continuing medical education activities, builds the academic brand of Zilongshan International Academic Week, undertakes the number of national and provincial continuing projects and the number of trained personnel increases year by year. The Fourth Clinical Medical College has a total teaching area of 2800 square meters, including 36 clinical demonstration classrooms (covering each ward), 4 multimedia classrooms (including 1 distance teaching classroom) and 8 teaching rooms.
